GEORGE AVALOS from mercurynews said that SAN JOSE — Align Technology, maker of the Invisalign orthodontics system, has shifted its headquarters from San Jose to Arizona but will keep an innovation hub in north San Jose.
The company moved its headquarters to Tempe, Ariz. on Jan. 1, but vowed to retain a major presence in Silicon Valley.
“The company’s San Jose campus remains the hub for its global innovation, product, and marketing organization and will become home to its new Digital Innovation Center, currently under construction,” Align Technology said in a prepared release.
Align’s disclosure comes just weeks after Hewlett Packard Enterprise revealed it would shift its corporate headquarters from Silicon Valley to Texas, yet still maintain an innovation hub at its current San Jose campus.
