TAKASHI KAWAKAMI from asia.nikkei said that GUANGZHOU — China’s public and private sectors are set to spend 10.6 trillion yuan ($1.6 trillion) through 2025 to develop next-generation infrastructure, including the 5G network and electric-vehicle charging stations, as frictions with the U.S. look to remain intact despite a new administration in Washington.
